Teenagers who think they are obese are more likely to be obese in twenty

The recent medical study found that healthy girls in their teens, who thought they toxins, they become more than twice as likely to be overweight when they reach their twenties.Researchers found at the University of Norway that six out of every ten teenage girls who they thought they were obese, even though they and their weight naturally, increased their weight significantly when they turn twenty.

The team used the Norwegian University of Science and Technology Data 1200 teenager with normal weight and between the ages of 13 to 19 years, and asked each of them to give imagined your weight. The researchers noted that the young men and women in the teen who described themselves as "fat" or "too chubby" were more likely to be overweight or obese.


The results showed that about 59 per cent of girls and 63 percent of boys who considered themselves obese, suffered from overweight at age twenty, compared with 31 per cent of girls and 48 percent of boys who were uncomfortable with their weight. The scientists said: "Girls are particularly melanosis to see themselves as obese, despite the fact that this is not true, which may lead to stress and unhealthy practices to control weight, such as skipping meals."
