The results showed that about 59 per cent of girls and 63 percent of boys who considered themselves obese, suffered from overweight at age twenty, compared with 31 per cent of girls and 48 percent of boys who were uncomfortable with their weight. The scientists said: "Girls are particularly melanosis to see themselves as obese, despite the fact that this is not true, which may lead to stress and unhealthy practices to control weight, such as skipping meals."
