How Green Tea Can Act as a Relaxant


Apart from anything else, drinking green tea has been shown to increase the sense of calm and reduce stress because it stimulates the production of feel good hormones in the body. Stress reduction is also an important part of weight loss because stress interferes with the digestive process causing more food to be stored as fat digestion and less efficient and the addition of nutrients from food. When combined with caffeine and other stimulants, as it is in green tea, theanine promotes a feeling of ease and alertness. In tests conducted in the Netherlands and published in "Nutritional Neuroscience" in December 2010, researchers found that a combination of theanine and caffeine reduced tiredness in test subjects and heightened their accuracy in performing demanding cognitive tasks, even with a switch in activities.

So you see, the consumption of this wonderful drink can really help boost your health while providing help to lose weight to those who need and want to use all available tools to make your own strategy as effective possible.
