Some Uses for Used Tea Bags


After finishing your cup of tea, don’t throw out the tea bag! Here are several things you can do with it:

1. As a cold compress to soothe tired, puffy eyes.
2. As a cold compress to ease sun burnt skin or insect bites.
3. As a bath scent. Place leftover tea bags in a pouch and let it float in your bath water.
4. As a deodorizer. Place used black tea bags in your refrigerator to keep odors under control.
5. As an artistic tool. Dunk the leftover tea bag in hot water again and use the tea water as your ink or dye.
6. As a scrub. Remove the leaves of green tea bag, and scrub them to your face/body. It smoothen your skin.
7. As a booster for your garden plants and blooms. Remove the leaves from the bag before mixing it with your potting soil.
8. As an aroma booster. Dry out used tea bags and add some drops of essential oil. Place in a pouch and in your closet or shelves.

These substances contained in tea is very easily oxidized. When the leaves are exposed to sunlight, the oxidation process occurs. This vitamin serves as an immunity or resistance to the human body. In addition, vitamin C also acts as an antioxidant necessary for the human body's resistance to disease.

Vitamin A
Vitamin A which is in the form of beta-carotene tea is a vitamin that the body needs can be met.
